Its a Ratt - Dokken heavy day today.
Look at the Top Played Songs of the week and you'll notice the same pattern. I like both bands, but it's a little much.
Yeah....someones been requesting the crap outta them...I changed their level so they can't be requested as often...maybe that'll help...

Going to see if I can track down the user(s) who've requested those tracks and see if I can persuade them to choose some other of the 30,000+ songs from other artists

White Sister was an early to mid 80's L.A. band. The first album was produced by Gregg Giuffria (Angel, Giuffria, House of Lords) and also features an used Angel song ("Whips"). In the late 80's, the band changed it name to Tattoo Rodeo and had a little bit more success.

I actually saw White Sister live at the Reseda Country Club for one of their New Year's Eve shows. Great band!
Thanks - I dig it, just did not know who they were.

Heard this on the boneyeard yesterday on Sirius. I'm already loving it!
> Firehouse - Love of a Lifetime

It's a shame these guys got pigeon-holed as a "ballad" band, because they can really rock. This, obviously, is not one of them.

I'm glad I liked them again, too, lol!!!

So many bands/albums seem to fall thru the cracks.

It seems that SAM has now been favoring Lizzy Borden and Y&T lately!!!

It seems that SAM has now been favoring Lizzy Borden and Y&T lately!!!I've noticed that too, though all the Lizzy Borden I've heard yesterday and today (haha) has been requested.
Ok, this is the second time I have heard this stupid Kill the Wabbit "song". If anything needs to be removed from the rotation that is it.

Cool to see these singles collections on here. I wonder if these uploads were from the First Ten Years box set.

Maiden re-released all 10 singles and added special extras to each such as an additional tune and each had a narrative at the end by Nicko (which are hilarious!). One cd came out, I think, every 5 weeks (this was in the early 90's). Also, each cd came with a vouture and if you collected them all, you could send them in for a collector box (limited number avail).
I grabbed the first and third as they came out and then gave up because they were like $18 a pop and I wasn't making enough cash at the time to keep getting them as well as they were tough to find.
Over the years I was able to get the other eight I was missing off eBay and fortunatly they were from sellers that had no idea what they had as I got most of the for $10 or under. The one thing I did dish out for was the collector box. The bid was not crazy high, but it shipped fom the UK so that added some to the final price.
There is a sealed LP set with the box on eBay right now and it is going for $1000. Not sure how much a cd set would go for but I think if I had to sell, I would come out ahead (not that I plan on selling them!)

This guy on Wiki wrote a nice article and track list about the set for any one that is interested in checking it out:
