That's exactly what I said when I found that album and sent it in. :twisted:Thanks for doing that! I have a compilation called LA Steel (http://www.thecorroseum.com/comps/lasteel.html) which has an exclusive Panther track on it. I should see if I can get a clean rip of it and upload it.

I think part of the problem is the music companies are still charging 18 to 20 bucks (sometimes more!) for cd's. Some a bit lower, but even $14 a pop can be a bit much.
It's dirt cheap for these companies to make the cd's, not sure why they don't try and sell them for like $10...oh yea, it's called greed. But then the record co's are the first to bitch that music is downloaded instead of being bought. Not that swiping is right, but if you have low or no cash, want an album, it's usually out there for the taking. Some bands have solved this prob by breaking away, starting their own label and making their own little distribution companies (alot of the death bands do this).

I'm still old school, I like the actual cd and all the artwork and liner notes, especially with the euro metal cs's, which are usually loaded with all kinds of cool stuff. But I'll wait for a sale or dig around eBay to get the album for lower than retail. The only albums I'll dig for on blogs and such are old, out of print or hard to find albums.

I messed up my dedication on this track. It was supposed to come after Witchkiller, and is a rerecorded version of one of the tracks from Metal Massacre 4 (MBR1012).

Well, DJ Sam bumped my Treat request, which started my "Build A Block" for READY!!! Probably will see that Treat tune later today!

Slick, yea they are doing good on the other side! If they can get that bullpen consistant they might be able to contend a bit as the AL east is lacking a bit this year. O's also, besides that first game, busted on the Nats and took the series.
I'm planning on going down to DC in June for the next Battle of the Beltways series (O's-Nats).
Kinda hoping the Nats turn it back on too, they have lost a bunch of series recently.
It's all fun!
Song Dedication
seems like I???m falling into a theme

That statement would have made more sense had SAM not knocked the dedication off of my Y&T dedication for Summertime Girls.:smashpc:

Hey Skulls...So I can dig into this a little...You get the ded form, fill it out, and get the confirmation (see your username and message), right? It's not showing either username or dedication in the database...Anyways...Answering the q's above will help troubleshoot...
The same thing happens to me... quite often. I make 5 dedications and one seems to get pushed to the front of this list and the dedication dropped off. It???s almost like SAM says... yeah, I like that... and takes it for himself.
I think there may be a couple of different things happening:

1) as Doc mentioned...you request and dedicate a song. Sam then picks it and plays it. It shows as "not requested" on the site....

2) (Possibly): A user requests a song. Enters the dedication but either doesn't submit, or does and something breaks down. Then the site shows the song as "requested but not dedicated"...

That???s the one that???s been happening to me.
I have never experienced the latter.

I hope that's everyone's experience (would be a sam rotation issue vs. a website function issue)...
