> Hey Ironskulls, looks like the Orange bird has landed also. What the f'k is wrong with the Orioles again? Oh, its the same ole thing, can't hit cant pitch, those are a pretty big part of the game I guess
> From: Slick .:. [Add to Friends]

Yea Slick, wtf? Same ol crap. really thought they were going to have it together this year since they picked up some good players and everyone was pretty healthy. They ended great last season when the new manager come in so I thought that was going to be a factor also.
Once again, I think I'll be down in DC for some games (maybe the Battle of the Beltways O' vs Nats). At least Nats are playing .500 ball. So they are on par so far, although it is still super early.
And the O's did you see that west run they have, Rockies, Dodgers and Giants? Holy crap, they are in serious trouble there...
Man, you guys jump ship fast. It's a 162 game season...

I am not jumping ship on my Twins....never will either! I was just venting, too!
> Man, you guys jump ship fast. It's a 162 game season...

yea, but after 14 or 15 years of crappy ball, it's hard to stay onboard the boat
Still have the Brewers to fall back on, they're back to .500 and a game out of first. I was just hoping the o's could get back to .500 this year. Yes It's a long season but damn they look bad again
Dokken - Mr. Scary (8:23)

Looks like someone snuck in Don and the boyz. Just would not be he same without a Dokken tune...

Clever Keir, I see where you're going with this.

Don't think I caught the name of this song.

I think it was "Nail in my bed".
I've always loved Uriah Heep, but I don't think there was a lot of effort put into those lyrics.
> Dokken - Don't Close Your Eyes

Second Dokken of the morning and I've only been here for an hour and a half, but who's counting... :?
uggh...I've dialed back some of the heavier weighted songs that seemed to play a lot...will have to revise it...Unless Don and crew send me some cash - I could be convinced to do an all Dokken hour :)

Anyone else catch Alice on The Tonight Show (Leno) the other night? I hit it up on the DVR. He had Dweezil Zappa as guest player. Sounded great although I wish they had done something different than School's Out, but the anthology just came out so that would the one most people would know (I was hoping for the 80's hit "Poison").
Dweezil is awesome. I have his fist solo album and it has some weird stuff on it (hey, he is a Zappa), but there is some killer shred guitar work on there too. Maybe I should transfer the vinyl to cd/mp3 and upload...

Yeah, I saw it too (but it was like two weeks ago or something...you must have seen a repeat). Very cool. Alice was GREAT and definitely deserves to be inducted (for whatever that's worth....the RNRHOF is kind of a joke). Dweezil was shredding it up....man, that dude can play. A month ago, I saw a on-demand video concert of him and Steve Vai jammin' and they both were doing some amazing guitar "dueling" (but I liked Dweezil's riffs & licks better).

Man, I want to see that! Recall what the show was called??, I want to search it up.

I always liked Dweezil. I wished he would have ended up as the lead player for soem killer metal band, but he pretty much did his own thing or would guest here and there.

And yea RNRHOF...joke. Glad some of our guys are getting in, but it really only happened out of pressure, not because "the board" appreciates or even understands hard rock and metal. No new news there, we all know this...

It was a concert DVD of "Zappa plays Zappa"....and here's a link on YouTube for a little taste:

Don't get me wrong, Steve Vai is an amazing player, but I just liked what Dweezil was doing better. He really burned it up on that SG ;)

Please do! I have some more waiting in my folder like Satan, Black Axe and Fireclown, but there's still a lot more missing that used to be on here. (Nice block, BTW.)
