Here in the lovely state of North Carolina, we are unable to collect our State refunds for lack of funds. What I heard yesterday was the officials are waiting to collect all the $ due them, then see what the deficit is. We are not to expect any refunds before December 2009.

Finished up my taxes in timely fashion last night. I'm due a nice refund from the state, and I know people that have already received theirs, so it looks like CA is alright for now.

Got home last night and saw a nasty thick envelope from the IRS in the mailbox. I'm being audited for 2007 and right now they want about 10K from me. I was going to call Wesley Snipes to see if he had any advice for me, but I think he's in Jail...wrong guy to ask!

We just got our refund a couple days ago (which is good, since we've been spending it for about a month now!) I had no idea you could actually get back more than you paid in taxes. Crazy.

OK, this is a strange one. Ashes to Ashes is from All Systems Go - I remember it. But that is not the All Systems Go album cover, and if you go to the request page Ashes to Ashes does not appear on the All Systems Go album.

What probably happened is that once upon a time Ashes to Ashes was getting requested too often so it was locked and that????????s why it doesn????????t show up on the request page. However, when you do a Random Album Request you can get any song on the album, even if it is locked. This can also happen with a Random Artist Request. That is strange about the album cover though. Never seen that before.

Ahhh. Takes me back to the summer of 83 I think it was. Had a new girlfriend. I had this sweet 69 Nova too, all white with black interior. It had this stereo with the graphic EQ and all the lights on it. When that drum part comes up I would crank it to make those lights go from green to red.
Damn, I wish I still had her.
