> Hump Day Glam shot? ok, cool (although these guys were less "glamy" than most in the look). And for those that hear this all the time on FM radio, well I haven't turned on FM radio in a very long time, so I haven't heard this one in quite awhile; and one of my faves too.

Night Ranger is one of those, Oh Yeah... we used to listen to them all the time; bands. My wife and I played their first release all the time... yeah as a cassette. Great band, great tune. Thanks for the pleasant flashback of Mrs. Doc and I cruising in my Mustang cranking some killer tunes.

sKULLS AND dOC..I WAS THINKING THE SAME THING..HEARD THAT TUNE AND WAS TAKEN BACK..GOOD TIMES.. :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:
From a visual standpoint, not really a very glam type band either, but often credited, since they were one of the first ones signed to a label, as jump starting the LA Glam Rock/Metal movement. The only Dave era album I own or like; I know like sacraliege to say that, but until this album and then Sammy, well, the guitar was killer, but the songs were sub par (imo).

I had every album back when i was a kid in the 80's, Like most bands for me, it's always that first album, and I'm a big fan of VH1 but typically wouldn't request it here. I can take songs off every album I really like but Dave always through some of his crap in there that I wasn't a fan of.

Prince, wow, just saw that too. Only 57, man, wonder what the story is here. They just keep dropping, one after the other, week after week, unreal.

I am unapologetic in the claim that I have a copy of Purple Rain soundtrack (on vinyl and cd) and still play it on occasion. it was truly a rock album, so even us rock guys (at least the crew I hung with) liked this album. And let's be honest, it was a great flick to take the girlfriend to.

Another one of those artist that like them or not, their impact and influences on music were huge and should be remembered and respected.

Bummer here in MN to hear of Prince's death, too :( I live about 5 miles away from his Paisley Park "residence" (aka his studio) and when I drove by this morning around 9:00 am CST, there was nothing going on. But I believe someone called the cops shortly thereafter. Very bizarre and sad. And we still don't know the whole story. My wife is a huge fan and is actually out at Paisley Park right now mingling with the media to get info. Since Prince tore his house down about 5 years ago, he had lived at his Paisley Park studio where he has an area of living quarters when he was in town. He was even seen riding his bike outside of the studio last Saturday on a beautiful 70-degree day. Plus he had a dance party that same night at Paisley Park where he made an appearance but did not perform.

I am a fan and can really appreciate what he's contributed to the music world. Saw him once at one of his infamous late gigs at Paisley Park, and he tore it up on guitar and had the band & music in the "palm of his hand". A musical genius lost....
Gemini Five - You Spin Me Round (Like A Record) (3:45)

From: Babylon Rockets

HR80s just ?jumped the shark’ -- reach a point at which far-fetched events are included merely for the sake of novelty, indicative of a decline in quality.

WTF? My Bon Jovi tune was in the que for an hour, was next to play and just vanished, I don't care if you like them or not, that blows.

Man, no new music for a year, deds and tune disappearing..this station is starting to piss me off again. :shit: :smashpc:

Maybe a "moderator" is out to get me. If so, good job, you win bitch.
The same thing has happened to my Bon Jovi tunes in the past. I asked Chris about it but he couldn't find any issues.

I have a feeling Chris backed off the site when he was "pressed" to upload music that doesn't belong here.
I saw it vanish too Skulls. For what it's worth, I've had similar shit happen. Definitely feel the new music pain - there's a lot of good new stuff out.

Lol. Do you have a shred of evidence to support that last statement? I bet life has more to do with it than that fuckin' conspiracy theory.
I do, but I'll keep that email from him private. Sorry I struck a nerve there, pal.

It's really more that you're a whiney bitch and are starting to sound like a broken record.
Grow a brain, little girl, and no need to get testy. Apparently you believe that only your opinion matters.

You may want to pick up a box of cotex for yourself.
Just seeing this... Help me help Chris.

Is this happening to a particular Bon Jovi tune or all of them? Also, someone grab a Bon Jovi tune that’s disappeared in the past (if you can recall it), dedicate it and let me know. I can track it through the pre-queue and try and see at what point it disappears.

I think it is all of them, I picked the last song off the first album "Get Ready" so it was not Runaway, Living on a Prayer or anything like that that is overplayed on FM.

Maybe we need to pick another later and see what happens. I would like to say it was a fluke, but not the first time this has happened by far.
Roger that. What I’ll track is if it disappears in the pre-queue or when it transitions to now playing.
