This was recorded in 2011...I believe it was the last record before Mark Reale passed away. Man can that guy write a song and shred it UP! :hbang1:
The bass player for Riot in the early 90s is still here in SA, where Riot has strong roots, and teaches music and plays in probably the best Rush tribute band on the face of the planet.

I am a huge Riot fan and don't have this CD..Ripper tune and its on my hit list..and thanks for the kudos..that was a freakin AWESOME tune..been a great day here at HR80's .com...

A decline in members participating started approximately two iterations of the site ago. That's when, in my opinion, the format of the station started to evolve. Lots of new "fringe" 80s hard rock/metal music was being added and the focus and SAM rotation of primarily 80s band tracks began to change. If you're bored out of your mind, there's bound to be plenty of forum discussion from way back then about the whole thing.
I have only been around since 2008....Doc, Rockhead, Slick, DD, Turbo, 314, Ironskulls and DrK were here before then and may be able to offer more insight.
Personally, if it's hard rock and metal of the 80s, i.e. from a band that got their start or made music from 80-89, then it belongs. ALL of it.... as has been noted in recent posts, some killer hard rock is missing. But THAT is a different story! :whistle:
