Excellent metal tid-bit Metalero. I knew Bill did some work with Napalm Death, but had no idea he also worked with Angel Witch. In the tune you played, you can absolutely hear Bill's guitar tone that comes through strong and clear on the Carcass album "Heartwork", that mid tempo, mid level note, multi string bridge. Amazing and unique.

Was on the move when this came on over the hands free...knew it was a request!

Nice pick Ironskulls.

Reminds me of the old HR80s when NWOBHM had more prominent place on the Day Crew airwaves...especially Keir, who started this thread over 8 years ago...

On Wednesday afternoon, the Day Crew was enlightened that apparently time travel is indeed possible....

Doc, what's even crazier is the tune came off the same exact album I requested from earlier. Love it!

F yeah! Love this tune and album. Being a fan, I am sure you have the latest release "Haven". Some great stuff on there too and as we have been saying, sure wish it was in Sam to request!
Yep. I’ve got it. I like that they included instrumental only versions of several of the tunes. We’re working on a plan get get some new stuff loaded. There’s a lot of stuff waiting.

Cool, I got the double cd with the second cd being the whole album as instrumental.

Looking forward to new stuff indeed. Still having probs getting into FTP and have other albums to add, so when you clear up time wise, shoot me the login info again. Stef sent me the info but did not seem to work so I could be missing something too in the settings or access.

Past "crew" history: I used to do civil land survey work back in the mid to late 80's Each one of our field crews had a name to go by and ours was The Wrecking Crew. Our crew chief and fellow metal head friend Mike (RIP) was a huge Overkill fan so he pinned the label. Funny thing is, I think it is the only Overkill tune I like, was never a huge fan of their stuff, but that tune sure brings back memories

The only survey work Ive ever done is when I watch Family Feud, I'm not a big fan at all of Overkill, but I'm a big fan of both Skulls and Rippin Russ!
SAM has served up some absolute HardRockin80s.com music trash today.

Most of which is from bands that have NOTHING to do with the 80s.
