When I grow up I wanna sing like Bruce Dickinson.
Do bands such as Sepultura really belong on this site? When I hear this I see why I can't people who are lovers of 80s metal to listen to the site. Shit like this needs to be removed.

I will agree with you Turbo..they are not a "TRUE 80s" band..how did they get here any way??
Sepultura is one of the reasons I listen to HR80s. Not every likes boy bands, spandex and hair spray.

Stay fucking metal.

Sorry to disagree Turbo, but I believe albums like Roooarbak, Kairos, A-lex and Dante XX1 should be on the station. The only one that I don't think is a fit is Roots.

MAD PROPS FOR DA PREZ... :hbang1: :hbang1: :hbang1: :hbang1:

Wow, the heavy vs glam metal covo is back. No mystery here about me, I dig some of it all. Right now on my home player I have out Testament, Stryper, Avantasia, Slayer, Blackmore's Night, Def Lep, Kreator and Six Feet Under. Can't get much more diverse than that!

It’s an ever-evolving experience based on the preferences and tastes of the Crew. I’ve never found anything close to it. Y’all make it rock. Horns up, Crew! :hbang1:

The debate about what artists/albums/songs do or don't belong on the new HardRockin80s.com seems to depend solely upon the individual. Personally, if it's a band from 80-89 that's hard rock and metal it belongs. Period.

Does everybody like all of it? Likely not. No, not even Ironskulls and Ripper love every track. Just look at how many emergency room trips there have been for them that are associated with ice picks....

Solution? When a track comes on that you think sucks, turn it down. It never lasts too long. B)

Semper Metal!

:horns:
Except for GHOST. They aren't an 80's band. They are as painful to listen to as sitting through a church service.

I guarantee I can play quite a bit of period music that will make lovers of the 80'squirm. Especially some of the German thrash. I find myself just like Skulls.

I've never found similarities to other bands a problem. If it sounds good F-it.
