Sure do! I read about them in Kerrang and saw them live at their first Los Angeles area performance at the mighty Reseda Country Club.

Yayyyy SAM! :)
Never get tired of this one. Jon Lord's music remains with us always. What a remarkable song writer, composer and musician.

Is this a remake of a top 40 tune? It sounds quite a bit like a song I heard the other day come across our local lite radio channel, although that tune had a woman on vox and was more like dance or house music.
I like this rock version better if it is indeed a remake :horns:

Oh yea, have heard of her, although obvioulsy don't know one song from another of hers :P
Maybe if we can get more of the rockers to remake some more of the tunes they will be listenable.
Back in the day top 40 radio was actually pretty decent. Not so much now

Was it just me or did a Fates Warning tune come by and not show up in the que, now playing, or recently played?
Not that I am complaining, I dig early FW.

X-Ray Spex were a '70s Punk / New Wave band. The song X-Ray Spex was written by Richie Ranno, of Starz. He also has a band calle "Richie Ranno's X-Ray Spex".

WOW, does this bring back memories. The first time I ever heard it was from a little floppy "record" that they use to put inside Guitar Player magazine back in the day. Other than that I don't think a studio version has ever been released.

Paul Sabu has been around since the late 70's, but most people don't know who he is outside of a few writers at "Classic Rock" magazine. Sabu has made his living as a producer and a songwriter.
