Thanks Keir! I'll have to check out that Reverend album, although Mike Howe was awesome on this release, so a bummer they did not do another with him.

FYI, Reverend's first full-length album "World Won't Miss You" is in the HR80s library courtesy of yours truly :hbang1: Check it out!
> Vinnie Vincent Invasion - Baby-O

Did Vinnie hear the melody to that song when he recorded the guitar part, or was there another song playing in his headphones?

Just a quick American history lesson.... The original 13 colonies were Virginia, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maryland, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Delaware, North Carolina, South Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Georgia.

Maine was not one the original 13.

Van Halen live here in San Antonio tonight.

At $125 a pop I won't be there - especially with Kool & the Gang opening.

There was a nice write up in the paper about the show that explained why VH chose them as openers. Apparently, DLR views them as "a natural fit with Van Halen. We were the party rock band of the '80s and they were the party band of the '80s."

Damn!!!
Called into a meeting and missed my entire KNIGHT block.

And done one choice nugget at a time!!!

Now that's freaking killer

Well, that was all over the place and none of it terribly great...perhaps that's why these bands toiled in obscurity eh?

Ah well, nothing ventured nothing gained! B)

It wasn't going to be the same anyway. Geoff has lost his amazing vocal range. The last 2 releases sounded strained and the LIVE show at M3 was awful.

I think they should change their name but I do look forward to some new music with the new singer.

I agree.

In all actuality, they haven't been the same since Chris DeGarmo left. When I saw them open for Chickenfoot in 2010, they were a shadow of what they'd once been.

Dale, I totally agree with you! At that M3 show, you could just feel the tension thru their performance. And Geoff's voice is not what it used to be. Saw some YouTube clips of the new singer when they did a show in Seattle under another name (Raising West?!? or something like that) before the "official" firing of Geoff. WOW, it sounded great and kind of brought back the original vision of each tune. But they should move forward under a different name....and I am sure Geoff will try to be a roadblock for that. Maybe under "Queenryche, Inc. dba Raising West", LOL! Ahhh, the business (& greedy) side of music.

Such a great tune. And they didn't even write it!

I said that when it was uploaded to the ftp and then again when it got put into SAM. Just because some real rockers helped out Mr Durbin does not mean it is a fit for the format.
Twisted Sister - You Can't Stop Rock 'N' Roll (4:40)

From: You Can't Stop Rock 'N' Roll

Man, I fucking love this tune! So simple, so aggressive...kick-ass!
They wrote I Dream in Infrared...you might be thinking of Gonna Get Close to You.
Oh, right! Sorry! You are correct!

$2 for PARKING! Didn't expect that

I thought it would be about $10 or so.

Great time and worth it all around!
