EPIC FRIDAY!
From:
Black Lab

Dig the tune... hadn???t heard it in years. Is it just me... was it dragging? Sounds like it was recorded from a cassette tape that was going south.
> Helloween - The Smile Of The Sun

I wish I would see it. I feel like I moved to Seattle. Have another flood watch for tonight. If it does flood it will be our third in a month. We still have trees down from the last one. ENOUGH ALREADY!!!
Bon Jovi - Born To Be My Baby (5:28)

> Hey Skulls! How about those O's? Another disappointing year, but if they keep the Sox out of the playoffs at least they accomplished something. And they are playing incredibly well again to end the year

The O's. Oh yeah, that team in Balto. hehehe. They always seem to bust on Boston and NY. If they played like that all year, damn! I keep hoping and hoping, but 15 years now.
I had a buddy at work crack on my Nats hat and I told him at least they are only 2 games out of .500 (as of today) and in third place, that ain't to shabby! The O's, well how far back are they?
I want to be enthusiastic about them again, but we keep getting let down.

How about those Brewers? They are kicking it!
Brewers are a hot ticket around here right now. As a matter of fact so are Badger and Packer tickets, good time to be a Wisconsin sports fan!

Not so much here in MN....Vikings are 0-3 despite having double digit leads in 1st half of all 3 games -- they stall out in the 2nd half and can NOT get the job done and FINISH THE F'N GAME FOR A WIN!!! Ugggh!!! So much talent is being pissed away!!!

And our lovely Twinkies are at 99 losses for the year -- oh, I hope they break 100 tonight or tomorrow night (2 regular season games left). At least we can brag about that part ;)

But we can't forget about the MN Lynx WNBA who are in the championship for the first time ever! I know some of you are like "Yeah, SO!", but my daughter is into basketball and we are cheering them on!

You got a big one this weekend with the Cornpickers.

I'm pretty big into the Badgers, you may have noticed, and the Brewers are cool, but I really cant stand the Packers and their obnoxious fans. And how anyone can wear that green and gold, looks like they puked all over themselves, which most of them probably do quite often.

And yes Lab HUGE game Saturday night, every room within an hour of Madison is gone...I think that was like 57 rooms at last count

C'mon Dale, You don't like the dual kazoo solo?

Yeah...The Cardinals are my team, but they have had every chance in the world to catch the Braves...and find a way to blow it. On top of Albert likely leaving...uggh...looking dismal...

I already bought my NLDS tickets...if they make it...

And football? Chiefs suck. DD - Send Jared Allen back down here...We can use him again. Of course he'd probably get hurt like most of the pro Bowl plyers they have... Semi-bright spot: Mizzou is probably the best 2-2 team in the nation

Gonna be a long fall/winter...

Well, Vikings at Chiefs this Sunday, so certainly a good barometer for both teams. Can the Vi-Queens avoid another loss by blowing it in the 2nd half OR are the Chiefs as bad as they appear to be??? Hmmmmm....

Chefs showed a little life on Sunday...their best players are hurt..And even when they weren't hurt they played like the chefs of the recently futile Herm/Haley years (and not the low turnover, low penalty team that did well last year)...I dunno who will show up on Sunday. My money would be on the vikes, tho...

fwiw, I think KC has one of the best pro tailgates out there, but that's all i got to say about them...

That's more than State College, PA has!

> Forty Deuce - Standing In The Rain

It's funny because I was going to request this very song this morning in "honor" of the latest round of torrential downpours that hit us yesterday.

For the months of August and September we have received 28.95 inches of rain. Normal for the entire year is around 45".

Unreal. I'm not too far from you Lab, so know what you mean. It has been crazy here in the mid-atlantic area. Started with that insane rain last fall, then the none stop snow in winter, 100's and drought for awhile, now 2 moths of hurricanes and floods.
Too bad we can't ship some of the rain over to TX, that state is still burning.
I'm just glad my house and trees are still standing and my basement has stayed dry!

Now that I can agree with!

Mmm, right now I think I am leaning towards a frosty Sammy Adams Octoberfest :beerme:
