> Warrant - Mr. Rainmaker

Wow, thought that was PC69. Similar sound. I wish all Warrant had the same edge as this and Uncle Toms Cabin.
Black Sabbath - Who Are You? (4:11) (By Request)
From: Sabbath Bloody Sabbath

The classic question that everyone asks - "Who am I"?
Dedicated by: Hutt

I thought that was Admiral Stockdale when he was Ross Perot's running mate!

I just used that quote today in a letter to my pizza chain. "Who am I? Why am I here?"

Too funny!

I didn't know a Swedish accent sounded the same as a Philly accent.

One of my favorites from Def Leppard. Why'd they have to stop writing songs like that?
I could not agree with you more, Keir!

IMO, two factors....Pete Willis and Steve Clark. Remember, Phil Collin joined the band during the recording of "Pyromania" and basically just did the guitar solos -- Pete had already done all the rhythm tracks along with Steve, not to mention bulk of the song writing. I think the addition of Phil to the band, brought a real "pop" writing element to the band...and oh yeah, we can't forget Mutt Lange (not in his early days, of course). Yes, "Hysteria" was HUGE, but musically compared to "High 'N Dry" (and most of "Pyromania"), "Hysteria" was more "pop-rock" friendly and not as edgy.

Bums me out....sometimes....since High 'N Dry is one of my Top 5 albums of all time.

I got into Bloodbound on their Book Of The Dead album when Michael Bormann [Jaded Heart, Biss, Letter X] filled the vocal duties. Since then I bought the first album - Nasferatu and the new album Tabula Rasa, which both have the the singing talents of Urban Breed. I like the Urban Breed stuff better, even though I am a huge Bormann fan. Tabula Rasa is their best effort to date.
I have been totally digging Tabula Rasa. I remember when the others used to be on the station.

No worries - I've still not taken that out of the car - the more the merrier! Great stuff. First album I've heard in a while where every track is killer.

I wonder why he didn't sing any lead vocals in Bon Jovi?

Hmmmm. Seems to me when I saw Bon Jovi on the Have A Nice Day tour, he sang lead vocal on "I'll Be There For You".

I too still have it my car -- killer stuff, love it!!! As does my 8 year old daughter; however, I did not transfer track #1 over to her MP3 player -- there's just too many F'n-heimmers on that song for such young ears, lol!!! But that song is one of my favs because of that!!!

In your world the Sun rises in the West and sets in the East ha?

Don't have it dude, sorry. Anyway, my 2 for VH have been sitting in my folder for months. I get the feeling that admin doesn't want them.

Well, in the true sense of the word, the sun doesn't "rise". That illusion is due to the revolution of the Earth around it. Don't worry though, by the time you complete third grade, you'll have learned that.

Hey BL,

I believe your VH combo tracks were added to the mix last Monday (2/15). Check it out!!!

yes, richie always gets to sing one song during the jovi gigs, it's usually "I'll be there for you", "these days" or "Hey God", but there have been others. and there was a song that only richie has ever sung - it's on the 100,000 fans compilation - "If I can't have your love". I love the song, and it's just a song that jon could never do the way richie does. which brings us to the question why JBJ will never really let Richie do more than just one tune. it's simple: Richie's voice is so much warmer than Jon's, so much better, he's such a soulful singer that Jon can't allow him to take over (bahstid!). JBJ actually said something to that extent himself.
