Nice, at the newly renovated Palladium. Saw Dio, Y&T and Keel there on the same bill in '84. Gonna' try and make that one for sure.

I played both of these bands in my upcoming block, both of which will get bumped for two hours. Good choices Z.
sorry about that :-)

but something to look out for later this afternoon!

Weird thing is that the missing selection in my block was Y&T - L.A. Rocks, which played right before my block instead. Weird. I've noticed that happening quite often. I'll request a song but instead of it playing in my block, it plays right before my block. Doesn't matter as I still get to hear it...just noting it.

Anyone else notice how much this sounds like the Phil Collins-produced, "I Know There's Something Going On" by former ABBA member Frida?
I hadn't, but now that you mention it... wow, it really does!

When did we add early Rod Stewart to the library?!? LOL!!!
> Ozzy has two book signings out here today and tomorrow. I would love to go, but I can imagine the mess there would be at them. It'll be interesting to see what spin the news puts on this tonight.

They'll probably mention biting bats and we'll all yawn :D

Taking Dawn was amazing last night...being the opener though only get to play 5 songs..blew me away
From:

Who'd they open for? I do remember you saying you were going to see them, but don't remember if you mentioned who they were opening for.
The line up was:

Taking Dawn
Adelita's Way
Halestorm
Theory of a Deadman

Halestorm was pretty kick ass too.
Sammy Hagar - I Love This Bar (3:41)

From:
Livin' It Up

OH, HELL NO! One of the songs that should be permanently be banned from every karaoke catalog, and is Sammy just covering this because of Cabo Wabo? Country. Yuck. Toby Keith? Really?
> Vinnie Vincent Invasion - Let Freedom Rock

I had (actually still have) this on vinyl, but don't remember that long intro.
wonder if the politicians might reconsider their stupidity and put the minimum wage back where it was...that may be the first step in the decline of our economy
From:
314

Now why would they want to do that? I heard on the news that the Obama administration said the economy under its direction will create 95,000 new jobs in 2011 alone. Probably at the U.S. Mint printing more money to pay the minimum wage.

BTW Dale, I've got Taking Dawn in the car - kicks ass big time.
