I have to admit, after I first became a member & could request 5 song blocks, for the fun of it, I requested 5 tunes with a combined running time of well over an hour. I requested Rush's 2112, Helloween "Halloween", Iced Earth "Dante's Inferno", to name a few. I the scary thing was a bunch of other listeners did the same. All the tunes requested that day were an average of 8 minutes or so. It became everyone's quest to find the longest songs. Some of you might remember that day. I know the ADMIN did and asked us all NOT to do it again.
Hehehehehehehe...the fun of being a HR80s member.

Bad Boy is playing right now, and I see by Airwave's dedication that they are still playing. I remember seeing those guys when I was a kid back in ChiTown. They must be a little long in the tooth by now. Wonder how many original members are left?

Agree with all the folks on the long tunes, although I dig the Rush tune punkus spun. And coming from a huge fan of Helloween (surprise!) I do not spin their long tunes either, and they have had quite a few over the years besides the Keepers epic tunes. I try to save them for off hours, or maybe for a HR80s' points goal I may hit. But if I even do that, I usually will not suck up anymore airtime for a bit...
If I really need to hear their long tunes, and they are amazing songs, I pull out the cd and give them a spin.

Bad Boy still has Steve Grimm the original singer and Zeno who also plays lead guitar.
The drums and bass spots have been filled and refilled over and over but they still rock. They'll also be at Summerfest this year with Blondie of all people?!
