Now Playing

Whoa, every once in a while a song plays on here that turns my head to see who's playing. That just happened again with Cinderella - "If you Don't Like it". A simple but awesome song.
"Testament - Disciples Of The Watch (Live) (4:38) (By Request)

From: Return To The Apocalyptic City"

Hey Walt,

Are you saying your watering hole had this tune on the jukebox or what??? If it was there to request, it's fair game....and waaaaaay better than that c-rap.

Slash them tires, boy.

DD
Yes, DD, that is exactly what I'm saying. I was so freaking pissed! He's just a f***head metal-hater dick-nugget. No one else there will cut my songs off. They may turn them down some, but as long as I can still hear them, no worries.

Walt, I know what you're saying about that bartender. At my hang, I know the two main guys, and they'll get an '80 station going on the satellite, but there's one a-hole that always wants to get "Urban" music going. Needless to say, I avoid the place when he's working.

Rockhead

First off, Rockhead, and I've told you before, I freaking LOVE that Pink Cream 69 song! And I kind-of can't go there when he's not working because he's almost always working. And I dig everyone there so much, and he's actually cool unless he gets his period, which is often. I just wanted to hit him aith a taser (and then a barstool).

LOL. Just don't draw your guns collection, ok. Otherwise I'll suggest Andie to stop ya..
Loki, ould I just shoot him in the knee, then?
Don't you dare get me involved in this!!!
Awwww, Andie, you don't wanna come out and play? :o
> Loki, ould I just shoot him in the knee, then?

The most painful part to get shot at. I heard.
Drink - yes
Crank the tunes - yes

Play with guns - hell no
You gonna start a war - I will move back to Iowa to play in the water in the streets

OOOHHH - I could go to Chi for a burger!!!
War? It'd be over in seconds. And I'm NOT gonna shoot anyone. Geez! However, a tracer round to the gas tank...tempting...naahhhhhhhh... LOL!!!
I shattered my left kneecap into nine pieces. We won't go into how - suffice it to say I was feeling no pain prior. It was the most painful experience I've ever been through. I've broken my collarbone twice, various ribs, fingers and toes - nothing campares to the knees. I've still got two titanium screws and wire in there. My surgeon did a fantastic job rebuilding it. No limp or anything - just a really cool scar.
Mr. Slash, loving that Hatchet tune. Haven't heard that in forever. Nice little breakup there. Lovin' the Jacksonville sound. Think I'm having a flashback...
Rockhead - glad you are ok --

BUT, you know by not telling, we really, really want to know and will probably bug you till you tell. Sounds like a funny story - you know like the sludge guys on the couch -- it is funny when it happens to someone else.

Come on - give . . . . . .

OUCH!

OUCH!

OUCH!

... and Walt, peace man peace. Don't want to loose you.
"RRG..DD, you getting pounded again? Its coming down right now about 3 inches an hour. I have to turn my HR80s up extra loud so I can hear it over the rain hitting my windows
Dedicated by:
Slick"

Hey Slick,

Currently (Noon CST, Thursday), we have no rain, but some dark clouds in the west that may bring a little shower or two. We got hit in The Twin Cities last night around 9pm and it rained a ton.

Needless to say, my lawn is looking great; however, since the Chem-Lawn guy sprayed yesterday, my grass will be a foot tall in about two days.

DD
Loki, I am not a violent person by any means. I like to target shoot. I just prefer it with high-caliber weapons. They're just cooler. I also like to see stuff blow up. Great stress-relief! But inanimate objects only. Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere, especially the hoosegow!

(By Request)

From: No Parole From Rock 'N' Roll

Listening to the lyrics, it just reminds me of the same hypocrisy of "Mother's Little Helper" by the Stones. Yeah, Keith Richards never did drugs. And Alcatrazz never drank. Funny, at the Button South in Hallandale, Fl., I can remember having drinks with Yngwie after a few of our shows.

OK, here goes. Some of my friends took my wife to TGI Fridays for drinks, because it was our anniversary. When we got home, three of my friends and I kept it going in my garage. Around midnight, one of my friends decided she wanted to go down the street to another neighbor's house - who was having a dinner party - and see what was up there. The rest of us decided it was time for a pee break, and went into our respective houses. While I was in mine, I decided to go upstairs and say goodnight to my wife and son. The rest happened in a blur. I lost my balance / footing at the top of the stairs. The next thing I knew, I was on the floor in the dining room. I sat up, rubbed my shoulder, then my knee. In the state I was in, it didn't hurt yet.

I then proceeded to get up and hobble out to the garage, thinking I'd just twisted something. I grabbed another beer out of the fridge, and "walked out to the driveway. Two of my friends were standing on the driveway next door, and called to me. I started that way, and my knee gave out, and my fresh beer went rolling down the driveway. They rushed over, helped me up and into the house. My friend Brian called upstairs to my wife, and she said, "Just throw him on the couch!" (think she's been through this before?) Anyway Brian says, "No, I think he's really hurt this time."

Quick wrap up: I was in the Emergency Room until 3:00 A.M., then had surgery two days later, spent two days in the hospital, two months in a cast from my thigh to my ankle and a month in a walking leg brace. A moth of physical therapy was involved too.

It's still talked about among my friends, and it happened in 2000.
