Wrathchild America - Day Of The Thunder ( 6:37 ) (By Request)
From: Climbin' The Walls

What do all these bands have in common? I like them.
Dedicated by:
Keir

I was gonna say they're all American bands...

> The album cover makes references to the bands being covered by HammerFall, including a Twisted Sister logo spray painted on the wall, a shield with the Warlord logo on it, a stone with the Pretty Maids logo, a pumpkin (Helloween), a Japanese Rising Sun Flag (Loudness), an arm holding a guitar buried on the ground (Rising Force) an 'E' logo of Europe, a razor with swedish steel written on it (Judas Priest) and a sign indicating Detroit referencing Kiss's Detroit Rock City.

Is it just me, or does this song sound like some band from New Jersey that threatens other bands with lawsuits?
From:
Rocko

You don't mean that country band from NJ, do ya?
Sure do. I keep hearing "In and out of love" during this chorus.
An EXACT rip-off. Surprised Banjo-Vi didn't sue them.

Motley Crue - Kickstart My Heart (4:43)
(By Request)

From:
Dr. Feelgood

Finally got around to watching last week's season finale of Bones last night. Motley Crue lip synched Dr. Feelgood. They all looked pretty good. Glad to see Tommy's let his hair grow. Vince still looks well-fed, but not chubby like previously.
Busy morning in the home office, but there's always time to spin some tune. Been listening to Helix lately...need to to get "Long Way To Heaven" uploaded, but this will do.

Diamond Dave

Dave (or anyone else), if you have Helix: Wild in the Streets, can you upload that one? Would love to spin some off that album, one of my faves.

Sorry, but I don't have that one on disc (I do have is on vinyl though). Maybe Keir has it since he just uploaded "Long Way"....

> Vince Neil - Look In Her Eyes

Gotta love the Steve Stevens laser-like guitar. 8)

He's up there with Vito Bratta on my list of Greatest Unacclaimed Guitar Players.
I agree 110%! Steve Stevens smokes!

I'm having a party in my back yard, by the pool this weekend. I've really been debating as to music, since there will be quite a few decades represented people-wise. Don't know if I'm going to go cds, or the iPod route. Between the three of us, that's three iPods chock full o' tunes of all nature.

Nice choice on the H&H, Rock!

P.S: PARTY AT ROCKO'S!

I love the iPod for that. Did the same thing for our Halloween party. When the guests arrived I had a playlist with just spooky sounds going. After the party got cranked up I switched over to a playlist with my tunes, with some of my wife's and some of my kid's mixed in. Just put it on shuffle and let it go - don't have to worry about changing out CDs. Gotta love it. 8)

You're right Lab, I'm sure I'll go that route. Between mine, my wife's and son's iPod, there's hours worth of music - albeit quite varied. I've got a bitchin' JVC docking system for iPod, complete with remote sub & speakers that will more than cut it sound-wise.
Keel - United Nations (4:06)

From:
Keel

I'm not complaining, but this is the third Keel song in the four hours I've been here.
