Hey, Triumph with one of my missing block picks. It appeared like magic...
Yup, "Silver Screen" by Jesse Strange measures up - this is another album I've got to track down (along with their later release)
Wow, I was kidding with my Dokken crack, but lo and behold!
L.A. Guns - Never Enough (4:16)
(By Request)

From: Cocked & Loaded

My fave Guns tune. Tracii had some great licks and riffs in that tune, killer melody and Phil sounds awesome!

This band really came of age with this album and have put out some other excellent albums, but this one is hard to top. I think maybe Tales From the Strip was the closest..IMO...

Excellent pic Walt!

!

Couldn't agree more.

Also, I think Tales From The Strip is the best release they've had since their heyday - even if it is without Tracii.
Thank you, Ironskulls! I love that tune! Definitely rips!
Jorn's gone country? damn! :D
That was hilarious, Rocko! And Turbo, your requests finally finished!
Walt, I read your dedication before the song title - Engel Brechts - and thought, WTF? Looking to the left cleared that up. Pretty funny too!
The song reminds me somewhat of Dream Theatre.
Whoah! Then Dream Theatre comes on next, I swear I wasn't paying attention.
always dig Sons of Angels! Thanks z2h!
The last 2 Europe are EXCELLENT!!! I was blown away the first time I heard this track...had to doa triple check to make sure it was who it said it was....ordered both this and the newer one shortly after...I make people start listening before I tell them who it is.

Yeah, I've liked what I've heard. I read about both albums coming out when they did, but I just never picked them up. I'm gonna have to fix that.
Westworld is playing right now, and until a couple of months ago, I had never heard of them. Enjoyed the song, so I went on Rock Detector, and found out who they were. Great pedigree - wish they'd lasted more than two albums.
too true too true!
Just got hosed on a request again. The window went blank and hung there until I closed it. Hmmmmmm.?
I could really do without this weird remix of Anthax's "I'm the Man" - sorry for this one

just gave it a nice fat "1"
Flotsam and Jetsam - Look In His Eyes (4:24)
(By Request)

From: Dreams Of Death

I am a huge Flots fan, have been since the first album, and I thought "My God" was a killer album for a later release. But I am trying to figure out what happened on this newest album. I have heard about half the tracks and it sure does not seem as strong as the albums in the past. The writing seems a bit off and the guitar work is not as intense, at least to me. Are they trying to get a nu-metal grunge feel to the album? It seems like that a bit, and if they are, they are going in the wrong direction as the traditional style seems to be on it's way back...

What do you think Hutt (or any other Flots fans)? Do I need to hear the whole album to appreciate it or is this a change for them...may just be my "ears"...
Testament is playing right now..."Electric Crown"

I was jammin' (again) to their newest album (The Formation of Domination) in the car this morning, and I must say that it's f'n AWESOME!!!

I uploaded it to my folder and we are all just gonna have to wait until it gets added by either Phoenix or Chris (major hint, hint)

DD
I 2nd that motion Dave!
