Def Leppard -
Can't Keep Away From the Flame (2:37) (By Request)
From: When Love and Hate Collide
I know this band has always been whimpy looking, but now their music suits them perfectly. Where's the raw oomph they used to have? Is Michael Bolton producing their music?

When they rock, they rock, but when they decide to get a ballad going, watch out!

Roxy Blue should have been big (in my opinion). What a great, high-energy sound. I had never heard of them before listening to HR80s... now they????????re in my regular mix on my iPod.

I concur with both Doc and Z2H. Despite the detractors saying they were a Van Halen rip off. Just too bad they didn't come out a few years earlier. I read recently that one of the guys was in the band Saliva recently. Nu-Metal or not, at least he's still playing music.

That's cool... I actually like quite a few Saliva songs... to me it's a natural extension of the music we all love here. If you listen to their music, some of it fits a lot better here than some of the stuff that's already uploaded to the station!

SO GOOD

Sure is! Like Pink Cream 69, I'd never heard these guys until I started listening here. Now, they're both represented in my collection.

I like Lars - oops, I mean Yngvwe - but i think if you took all of his really great songs, you could make up one compilation. Granted, it would rock major.

Killer track. Should have been included on Dr. Feelgood. Sounds like that era.

Vinnie Vincent Invasion - Back On The Streets (4:50)
(By Request)
From: Vinnie Vincent Invasion
One of Vinnie's best songs in my opinion. However, John Norum does an awesome version of this on his Total Control album, that I feel blows this one away.

I played "Fake Healer" by Metal Church" and a different Metal Chuch song played. The one about the Titanic. First time that has happened.

I always thought the same thing - one of my favorite Crue "lost" songs

Odin
"Judgment Day"
By The Gods
This was the "Caution" EP version of this. Strange hearing this version of it. Randy O hadn't come into his own yet. I like the other version that is available now. Glad someone finally put out some Odin on here. So many great songs to choose from now.

I agree, it's nice to have them back on the station (that album was on here, but was locked for some reason so you couldn't request it). BTW, both versions of Judgement Day are here, but it's hard to tell which is which.

The version that is over 4 minutes is the "Don't Take No" version. The guitaring and vocals are much heavier and the production is better. Just an FYI. Cool seeing the "Gods Must be Crazy" tunes are there too as well as their first two releases.
