Alot of what is in the email Doc posted is very scary. Some of the facts have to be true. Do we want a President that is sworn in on the Koran, or won't pledge allegiance to the flag of his country?

I have heard bits and pieces of the facts collected in this email. Someone went through the trouble of putting them all together... definitely makes you think. Like I said, I have not gone to snopes.com to check on all this. If half of it is true, HOW THE HELL DID HE GET THIS FAR IN PUBLIC OFFICE? Makes you go... hmmmmmmmmmm.

According to snopes.com, most of it isn't true. There was indeed a photo of him not holding his hand over his heart while the National Anthem played, though.

Ok, not jumping on the Obama bandwagon, but a word of wisdom for all to take heed. That email that is floating around with Obama not having his hand on his heart for the pledge is bogus. It was the Star Spangled Banner (a really bad version I must say) and it is not required to put your hand on your heart for that (although you are supposed to take a hat off). So like him or not, the message is misleading.
Just be careful folks, lots of crap floating around the net from BOTH sides that is a load, so make sure you actually dig into the issues, watch the debates and not make a choice on just some silly propoganda.
And as I noted, I do not like any of them, so have no idea what I am going to do in Nov...maybe sit home and watch the results with a six pack at hand, because I think no matter who wins, we are in deep, deep sh*t...

Walt... thanks for checking that. Not knowing the validity of that email is why I added the disclaimer. I did get a laugh out of it the first time I read it.

We've been in deep for a while now. That won't change overnight. But I still think McCain is a better choice to run this country. He may be a Republican, but he's a moderate one. I'm like you, Skulls, in that I vote for who I feel is most qualified to run this country. And the last few elections I've voted for the lesser of two evils. That should not be the way we have to vote in this country.

Were at war with the muslim "nation"? Where is this muslim nation? I believe there are muslims living in most every nation on this planet. No doubt that there is a group of radical muslim extremists that are a scary group of people. There are also a lot of radical christian extemists that scare the hell out of me. As far as Obama being the anti-christ, personally I think Bush is much closer to being the anti-christ than Obama. Thats just my opinion. As far as to whom I'll vote for I really havent made a decison yet. I really dont associate with either party, im more for the hadrockin80's party.

Sadly, you are probably right. You just have to consider who will cause the sh*t to be deeper? I've said this alot lately, that regardless of what either party's candidate might accomplish should he be elected, itfone of them somehow eliminates the petroleum crisis - or at least gets it under control - he will go down in history as the greatest president of the last 100 years.
OK, enough. Did I start this? Probably.

Taking a chance on this one. Playing it for the title. I know who these guys are - strong pedigree - but have never heard them. I apologize in advance if it smells things up for a few minutes.

Walt, you're right, it wasn't bad. I've read a bit about these guys, but haven't heard much. I'll have to give them some more spins.

Loki, great request with "Cause for Alarm" by Kick Axe. I thought I was the only person who requests that song.
There have been great songs playing all afternoon.

UFO - No place to run (3:59)
(By Request)
From: 1980-No place to run
One of my fave songs of 1980.
From:
High Volume
I saw this incarnation of UFO at a great (now defunct) club in ChiTown. I was hanging out near the loading door after the show, and a roadie left Paul Chapman's beautiful sunburst Les Paul sitting on a stand in the parking lot, unattended for about ten minutes. Anyone could have walked off with it. Honest guy that I am, I kept watch 'til the roadies came back out.
