Looks like the next series for the Orioles is the Cubbies. I was hoping to get to one of those games, it's the first time the O's have played at Wrigley, but could not schedule it in. So who do i root for? I've been an O's fan forever (I grew up in Balto County), but have been a Cub's fan for just as long. Well, Cubs are in first so would be nice to see them keep the train rolling. Eitherway it goes, I'll be ok :>) What do you think Slick?

Is Dave Trembley still with the O's?? He was the head coach for the Daytona Cubs for 10 years till the upper mgmt decided to get rid of him to open up his salary to hire lots of cheaper coaches.
I think this would be the 1st time he played vs the Cubs. Could be fun.

Yup, Trembley is the O's current manager. I think he is doing a good job, it's been a long time since Balto has been above .500 this close to the All-Star break. They are next to last place but at .514, it shows you how tough the AL East is (Boston, Tampa, NY).
Fun season so far. Was cool,to see Cubbies sweep the Sox :>)

Ironskulls, I live in Wisconsin... we hate everything about Illinois including the cubs. I was up in the Dells Fri night playing blackjack, the interstate was bumper to bumper with FIB's! Of course being a sconnie boy I knew where to turn off & take the back roads, and if I saw any FIB plates following me they'd be eating my charger dust. Whew, got that off my chest...go O's!!!!

Hehehe, Slick, love the "eating my Charger dust". I've never been to the state so can only go by seeing Wrigley on WGN. Looks like a cool place to see a game. Should be a fun series for sure.
I've heard about the Wis vs Ill thing out there before. We don't have much of that over here on the east side (in a non-sports sense). MD, PA, Del and VA all seem to get along pretty well :>)
