Doc, do you DirecTV or AXS channel on your provider? They have been playing an hour long interview/live set of BOC the past few days. They sound great and was good to hear some of the background story as I did not really know much about their history.

Hey Skulls,
Yes, I saw that 1-hour show on BOC. Very cool and they did sound great! Plus, I too didn't know much about the band (never really have), but it was a great interview. I was surprised how many different guys sing lead vocals on different tunes. I always thought that were just two singers (the ones singing the hits, of course).

Nope. I have Cox Communication.
Would love to see that. I’ve been a BOC fan since the 70s.
Dammit!!! Did I just date myself?

The special was due to the 40th Anniversary of "Agents of Fortune" album. All of the tunes played were from that album. They even had former drummer, Albert Bouchard, playing with them, but he played percussion and guitar and sang a couple of tunes. Of course, the only remaining original members were Eric Bloom & Donald "Buck Dharma" Roeser; The interview portion was with all three of them. I think Albert is even on this AOF 40th Anniversary tour, too.
Here's a promo ad that I found on YouTube:

Hope you can see it sometime, Doc!

> This a band my brother has been into for quite awhile that I did not really follow until the latest album (which is not here) and wow, they sound like nothing else out there, although familiar at the same time. Then it hit me, while watching them live from the Carolina Rebellion fest earlier in the year (thank you again AxsTV for airing cool stuff) they have some Blue Oyster Cult in them for sure, that sort of very dark, yet sometimes upbeat and commercial vibe to them. It works indeed.

Yep. The first time I heard them, I said to myself, ?That’s strange... I’ve never heard that BOC tune before.?

Band formed in 2001 and they suck. DELETE!
Anyone else have trouble reading white font on a white background. WTF, Over?

Yes. That’s one of those bugs that need to be fixed. Only Chris will be able to do that. My work-around is to highlight the text.

Like what I have heard off this release, but looks like this rendition of the band disbanded. They are now Major Crush and it appears they are working on some new material. The look is less LA Glam and more, I guess main-stream rock. The sound sort of reminds me of the harmonies in CrashDiet, but won't know for sure until more info drops. Hope they did not go full blown, post grunge rock, that shit won't die, but to be honest if it's US rock radio play you want, that's about the only direction you can go (F corp radio!!!)

I am probably the biggest Helloween fan here and love this album and tune, but it is the second time this long track has played this week and something like 4 or 5 times in the past 2 weeks.

Come on Sammy Song Selector, dig f'n deeper bitch. :smashpc:
An old topic of discussion for this version of the new HR80s eh 'Skulls? B)

At least a half dozen tracks have been repeats already this morning.

The "old timers" will recall an older version of the site where the most requested tracks and most played artists were a nice feature. SAM never had many repeats back then and the music selections were mostly 80s... :horns:
