Listener Dedication:
Hello! Vesura here. Would anyone like to donate $5 to the site so I too may become a backstage pass member? Unfortunately, I am a little short on cash because I am supporting my "Pretty Princess Pony" collectibles hobby.

Once in a while, SAM gets it right and makes it rock! :hbang1:
SAM just changed my line up once again. Why, we will never know...
> Triumph - Fight The Good Fight (5:24)
> (By Request)
> From: In Concert-King Biscuit Flower Hour

BL... Great minds think alike.
I picked the exact same LIVE Triumph song off the Live at the US Festival CD.
I thought that was mine playing until I looked over at the screen.
I guess mine will play sometime tomorrow.
:hbang1: :beerme:
And once again SAM steals my first dedication - GIANT "I AM A BELIEVER". Football SUPERBOWL coming up next sunday!!!

Only you had the great mind - mine was a random artist request. ;)

"Saraya - Gypsy Child (4:39)

This one is for the EUROPEAN LADIES EvA from Spain and Naomy from Hungary. Rocke Diem Y?all!

Bem "

Thank you, good music always helps me to feel better, even though I'm at my workplace and have a lot of things to arrange today... :horns:
> Chris: Also a classic rock album which I really miss here is STYX - PIECES OF EIGHT (1978) - how about broaden the range?
> Dedicated By:
> Bem

That's a can of worms you don't want to open. Don't go there!
I don?t get it. Styx as the worms? The general topic of new albums? Everything that?s good can get even better...
Styx, Cheap Trick, Journey, etc all great bands with hard rock tendencies are just not a fit for the general format of the site. They are more "Arena" or "AOR" bands by definition. Plus you can tune in any FM station playing "Classic Rock" and hear them every day. :hbang1:
Well, I do not only understand the approach and very much share the attitude but having BON JOVI (after NEW JERSEY!) and NELSON in the catalogue, it might be questionable... Especially STYX with PIECES OF EIGHT clearly is a different case to me because (a) it is totally distinguished from what they have done else and (b) it was very heavy at its time and influental to the further development of HM.
Maybe it proofs once again that taste is in the eye of the beholder - or however it was said... What a can of worms....

Agree with you here, Dale. But, let’s talk about Asia... :silly:
Yeah, right... ;) B) :beerme: :beerme: :beerme: :beerme: :beerme: :beerme:
Music types and groups have been an on-going debate here for over 10 years within the core Crew (the old timers). We’ve even done open surveys where everyone can vote. It comes done to staying true to the hard rock and metal genres from the 80s and bands still producing music in that style.

I’ve lost the Asia argument many time... that’s why it’s a joke between Dale and I.

I did win the Blue Oyster Cult argument several years ago. :hbang1:

Don’t hesitate to present bands and music for debate. Conversely, don’t be offended when they get voted down.
don't forget Loverboy!!!!!! :hbang1:
