This is great.
I requested a song from Faster Pussycat, then my favorite song from Steel Panther came right after.
Best radio station.

This is the 3rd Beatles cover song I have heard today, and none of them have been requested. That is f-ing strange.

Then we get another cover right behind it. I am digging deep into the grey material but I think was a Dave Clark Five tune.
Not a big fan of covers so hoping the White Lion in que is not Radar Love...

Man, Slash sounds awesome on this live release but that Myles Kennedy dude blows! I was trying to place who he was and actually had to hit the Bing to find out he was the singer/writer/etc of Alter Bridge.
That explains it, I hate that F'n band. They rank low just like Shinedown, Nickleback, Lifehouse and all that other American post-grunge crap that just wont die.
:shit:
Wow, went off there, but WTF was Slash thinking? I guess you bring in the younger generation guys to pull that crowd to you, but...geeeez

A wise man once said "luck is nothing more than preparation meeting opportunity". You have to be ready to take advantage. If you don't put your barrel on the fastball the pitcher grooved, or you're not hustling to the bag when the infielder drops the routine pop-up, then your 'luck' just flew out the window.
And how 'bout them Royals? Who saw that coming?

Got that right. The pitching staffs for both teams on Sat. were incredible, except Storen giving up that run to tie. He was 10 for 10 on saves until that moment, but he was also the one that let a run go when they lost NLDS game 4 in 2012. Not sure he is the best post-season guy!
The Giants are amazing in that they seem to be able to pull out of a hole, get into a wild card and make a run, just like 2012. I fully expect them to take the Nats out and keep kicking ass. A bummer for Wash. fans, but that's what they do and they are veterans on top of it, so they know how to do it.
I think the Royals are the biggest surprise and that is cool, because it's been a long time for them. The O's are surprising also, even though they lead the AL East, they are down 3 star players, yet swept the first round like it was easy.
October baseball is similar to March madness, it gets nuts and surprises and insane play abound, which is why I love it!

O's and KC should be a blast to watch. Could really go anyway indeed.
Don't have MLB here in Del so kept track of yesterday's afternoon Nats/SF game on MLB.com GameDay. Not like watching the actual game but you do get real time strike zone, with a field view and left/right batters, etc. Tonight's 9:00 est will be tough to see although we have FS1 here. Not sure I can stay up to 12:00 or 1:00 for that one. Damn I miss my home DVR :(
Hopefully Nats can pull one out and head home!

Wow, Sammy the Song Selector was in the wrong town when he pulled these out. We get a post-grunge crap tune (why is this here?) and then JLT doing 7 mins of soul remakes. :smashpc:
Thought maybe I tuned into my local classic radio channel

Well, I see SAM is still up to his old tricks, even after having the plug pulled. Yankee Rose was supposed to be part of my upcoming block.
