Freezing rain last night, some snow and sleet today here in MD. Have a Turkey Trot 5K run tomorrow in the a.m. and I think the weather will be cleared up by then but looks like the morning temp is in the high 20's to low 30's and the trail may still be a bit slick. Should be fun!

Mmm, either this track is messed up, Sam pooped out, or one of the moderators cut this short, it only played about half the song. It's long but I would only play this on a slow site day (like today) so if a moderator bumped it, booo to you :angry:

But it doesn't do much good if the song you requested gets cut off seconds after it starts! So apparently if a moderator thinks a song is too long, or just doesn't like it, they can axe it.

Do you have any evidence that your request was cut off or stopped by a moderator or is this merely speculation on your part?
I do know that several long songs by different artists are completely unavailable for request.

As a moderator, I know there are some things I can do. Cutting a song off isn???t one of them... or at least that I knew that I could do. My guess is that it???s a technical issue that would need to be brought to Chris??? attention.

Hi Guys...Sam sometimes breaks down. We have a program that monitors him and restarts him so the station continues to play. I can assure you the only song I've cut off in recent memory (months ago) was some 24 or 27 minute song that folks here had complained about.
That being said, Sam has been having these fits lately, so my best guess is that it was a restart where he auto closed and auto restarted. When sam re-starts, he automatically moves to the next song in teh que, if that makes sense. It's a technical issue, but not one that I have a keen understanding of how to fix.
A reboot may help...I may try that in the near future to see if that helps sam stay running longer...

Certain songs on this site weren't loaded properly or only a portion of the song was loaded. An example of that would be Twisted Sister's "Destroyer" on the Atlantic version of "Under The Blade (1985)." Only 20 seconds of the song was loaded onto the site.
Another example would be from the Tak Matsumoto Group. The song "Kings for the day" is supposed to be 3:46. On HR80's, the song is only 1:35.
