> Hey Lab! I just dedicated a couple of songs to Mr. Bielema. I think it was kind of unexpectated, at least from the fans perspective. But there aren't to many people the least bit upset and most people are celebrating. And the fact that he wont be allowed to coach in the Rose bowl says a lot, dont go away mad Bret, just go away!
Wasn't well liked, eh? Seemed to be a heckuva coach though. Will be interesting to see if he takes the Big10 style of play to the SEC.

> John 5 - The Lust Killer
SAM amazes me sometimes. I originally picked this as the first song of my "John" block. But wise, old SAM put John 5 in the 5 slot! Makes sense to me.

DD, EXCELLENT pick! One of my all time fave 80's albums. I picked it up on vinyl the week it came out after hearing one tune and ended up being blown away by the whole album. Still have the vinyl and also now have the cd to spin in the car :horns:
Looks like it now has the correct album cover when it plays, may still be coming up with the debut cover during requested.

Yes, you are correct, Sir!!! Had the debut S/T release cover when I was requesting, but now I see it's correct. In my MP3 files, that VERY first album is titled "Endangered Species", which I believe is what they changed the title to after the re-release. But the TWO self-titled releases is VERY confusing especially in the HR80s library, lol!!!
BTW, lookout for 4 more killer cuts from that release today since it's my AOTD ;)

You must've missed it yesterday. I did a "bones" block with every five I requested all day. Used damn near every "Bones" song in the catalog. The idea came from a conversation I had with Eva Metal Queens on Monday.

Hey doc I don't fly often but when I do I be sure to make them physically search me.
Seems to irritate them every time!
Perhaps time will ultimately be the equalizer with these goons. As a certified health physics technician it's the only organization I am aware of that uses x-ray technology daily without personal exposure monitoring...

Awesome!
Now, 'bones' is not exactly the easiest subject, well done! I'd suggest 'rain' for the next round ;)

My brother works for the company that makes 85% of the scanners used at airports and post office. I called him and asked him about the radiation exposure and he responded that their scanners do not use radiation technology, but is based on radio wave deflection, meaning no actual physical particle output by the equipment.
I deal with some radio wave tech in my line of work (Telecomm - radio wave towers) and if you are being over exposed to radio waves, you will get physical surface burns (due to ambient air heat) and unlike radiation, the waves are not absorbed.
So if you are not being burned, you are not being exposed to anything dangerous.
The Ironskulls technology fact of the day!

After years of pressure from political leaders, civil liberties and health advocates there will be an independent review of the health risks posed by backscatter x-ray devices. A National Academy of Sciences committee will assess ???whether exposures comply with applicable health and safety standards?? for passengers and airport employees. The study is limited to radiation and safety testing, and will not examine the privacy implications or effectiveness of the x-ray machines. In 2012, both the House and the Senate introduced legislation calling for an independent assessment of the controversial devices. Europe has also effectively banned the use of backscatter X-ray devices. EPIC has a FOIA lawsuit against DHS concerning body scanner radiation risks. In response to another EPIC lawsuit, the agency will begin a public comment process on the airport screening program in March 2013. For more information see: EPIC: Whole Body Imaging Technology and Body Scanners.
It's not the technology that scares me. It is the dolts that quarantine and terrorize little kids and old people.
Three billion dollars spent on the TSA. Total terrorist attacks prevented by the TSA = ZERO!

Excellent point Drk. Most, if not all, of the employees at the security lines are under-trained and are pulled from a pool that does not asses people skills and other important qualifications when dealing with the public, especially at that level of quantity and stress. I'm sure the pay is crap too, although that is not an excuse to be an a-hole (which many seem to have that attitude also). I blame TSA for those problems more than the workers. There certainly needs to be a rework of the security system processes, but we are aware that the scan devices, at least the ones my brother helps build, are safe and I noted that info since fBf brought that around.
We all learned something again today. Yea! Back to rockin' :hbang1: :beerme:

> And it continues: "It is required of every man," the ghost returned, "that the spirit within him should walk abroad among his fellow-men, and travel far and wide; and, if that spirit goes not forth in life, it is condemned to do so after death." - Charles Dickens

Thanks for the Christmas Carol dedications, I've been enjoying them. Having been forced to read Dickens as a teenager I always hated his writing but I really think I should revisit him now that I am older. With quotes like that it is easy to see why he's so revered.

So the Mayan Armaggeddon starts in the whole planet at the same time or is it subject to time zones?
