> Yes, I requested Jon Bon. I heard this tune on the radio the other day (amazingly) and am curious as to what it sounds like live. Let's check it out and see if it still kicks like it did on the studio album.

you're comparing 30 years inbetween ;). JB can't sing the high notes anymore. but I do like the tune.

I'm not sure what year this particular track was captured (the album is 1985 to 2001) but I thought it sounded damn good. Jon had the vox on and Sambora was shredding away, so I was pretty happy with that pic!

well, I think that one's good, too, but someone of course rated it a 1. call a bon jovi tune and kill its ratings... oh well. nowadays, live, jon will just let the (female part of) the audience sing the high notes on tunes like Runaway and LOAP. but hey, it still works live and the people are ready and willing to pay big bucks for it... (last time I got my ticket 50% off. it was worth that much to me). it was good, but I'd never pay the original price. it's gone through the roof, as far as I'm concerned.

Ok, looks like we've got another jack ass aboard. Most of you know I am a fan of most of what Butch Walker has done, but by no means does he belong here. So whoever you are requesting him multiple times a day, at least have the 'nads to dedicate it - or stop doing it.

I must say I have never heard of butch walker before, but I see this is getting annoying.... I second the part of Rocko's statement that requests identification... do have the cojones to say who you are, OhUnknownRequester

I'm the guy who posted these songs and I believe they belong here (... and I seem to be in the minority on the issue). That being said I think Rockhead is onto something. Each request should have the name of the requester next to it. It should be tied into the log-in. Only people who are logged in can request music.

P.S. - I'm not the guy requesting Butch Walker on a daily basis.

I think that's a really good idea. Since you have to be logged in anyway, I don't see why it couldn't automatically put your username into the "requested by" field. It wont change anything it will just say "Long" and he will still do it just to be annoying. Removal of that which never belonged in the first place is the only solution to THAT problem.

Masterplan - Killing In Time (4:33)

From: MK III

Pretty sure this isn't the right album cover. It's black with "Black Rose" scratched in white letters.
SEX Department - SEX Department (4:11)

From: Rock 'n' Roll Suicide

So how did this record end up on this site?

Seriously. This isn't 80s. This isn't hard rockin'.

With all the dialogue regarding what "fits" the site and what doesn't, surely the presence of this particular track (honestly not sure of what the remainder of the album sounds like) opens up the door to pretty much ANYTHING.

Yeah, I noticed that before. I just fixed it on the site, but the wrong cover will probably still show up in the player.
Rush - One Little Victory (5:09)

From: Vapor Trails

Mornin' crew! Saw that these guys are strongly thinking about pulling this album out of the archives and remixing it as they were never really happy with the final mix. Alex's guitar, besides having limited leads, was nested and muffled in the back a bit. Would be great to hear this release with a little more edge to it.

That will make the Rush fans very happy indeed!

Vapor Trails is a great record filled with fantastic songs and the mix has long been controversial to the legions of fans used to their impeccable engineering and mixing.

I could hardly believe it when I first listened to it! It was recorded way too hot all the way across the board from what I've read from the experts.

As I recollect, the Detroit Red Wings entered home ice the year they won the Cup to this particular track!

Thanks for the update 'skulls!

Geez, I have to defend GLTO?

Well, I guess I stand corrected  WTF do I know anyways, lol!!! Sorry GLTO

Never referred to them as 'Thrax nor will I ever. The "An" at the beginning is so trivial, so 'Thrax seems silly IMO. Maybe I should discuss it with Chris, since after all it is his homepage, lol!!!
Two Streetheart covers this hour. Now, there's a band I know absolutely nothing about.

They were a Canadian band that basically spawned Loverboy.
