> Nu Metal - but that is totally Jim and Don's influence. They both pimp Danko Jones all the time - which is a kool band but not what the show is about. But to capture a younger crowd they have to expand a little or it ends up being a show for those of us 35 and older - lol

I love that last Danko Jones album.
Celtic Frost - Winter (4:33)

Sorry guys...I'd not heard this one and I've never wanted a fast forward button on this site until now...man, that was awful...and someone rated it 10 stars???:pinch:

"When Santa squeezes his fat white ass down the chimney, he's gonna' see the happiest bunch of assholes this side of the looney bin."

(been waiting for an opportunity to drop that line all week  )
> Perhaps it's best, though, to skip over the whole human-sacrifice thing.

lol
> Been quite a mild winter so far here in MN. Been in the high 30's/low 40's this week. No jacket required -- well, at least for me. Now if it was Rocko, he would need about 3 layers or so plus a jacket. You have gotten soft out there in Cali, my friend ;)

You are so right Dave. I went out to walk my dog at 7:15 this morning and it was 39. I had on Dago-T under a sweater and a jacket over that. I was freezing. We're gonna' get into the mid 60s today. Christmas day, it's supposed to be 74 - that's more like it.

Well, currently it's 28 in the Twin Cities and the high "should" be 38, so you have us beat. But I really don't mind...keeps us folks up Nort' very hardy & humble, ya you betcha ;) Love the seasons, love the snow & cold...but the wind chill not so much -- it'll cut right thru ya and chill ya to da bone!!!

Merry Christmas to Rocko and the entire HR80s Crew!!!
> Love the seasons,

Believe it or not, we get seasons in Valencia as well - although nowhere as severe as back there. All my trees have shed their leaves, and I will have to cut the banana plants way back this weekend. We actually got about an inch of snow on New Year's Day last year. Of course if I really want to frolic in the snow, it's only about an hour's drive north. I love that. We can enjoy the snow all day, then leave it there when it's time to head home.

And a Merry Christmas to you and all the Crew as well!

Yeah, we got snow 2 out of the last 3 years up here in the Antelope Valley...hopin' for more soon!

Merry Christmas head bangers! :hbang1:

I'm playing a Christmas gig in the A.V. tonight.
really....where?
> really....where?

A place in Palmdale I've never been called Vince's. From what I understand, it's some kind of Christmas party. I don't know if it's for employees and friends, etc. or if someone booked it for a Christmas party. Our drummer called me on Saturday and told me about it. We get paid, and free food and beer. What more can I ask for?
nice! you should let me know when you play near here again...
> nice! you should let me know when you play near here again...

For sure! I assume you know where Vincent Hill Station is. We played there earlier in the month, and will be there again soon. We rehearse in Acton, and the bass player lives in Palmdale, so we get a lot of gigs up there.
yeah...my wife and I went there to eat one time...nice place...let me know about the next time
