My bro-in-law and some guys are forming a new band and are looking for a name. I said Free Beer!. Can you imagine the number of people you would get when they see a sign or ad that says Tonight at the Crooked Tavern: Free Beer!

We actually toyed with that at one time as well. :drunk:
We actually did name our band 'Free Beer', but for a very short time. The club owners weren't very happy with it.
  How about Naked Chicks?

If you don't know any Thin Lizzy song, you're not a fan. I have a feeling I know what you were picking.

Its calling pretty hard right now, big storm rolling through tonight and then highs in teh 20's for the next week. Florida, here I come!

Hey Slick, just talked to my Ma who pulled into Florida a few mins ago, and it was 43 degrees, with a high barley out of the low 50's today. Better than 20's and no snow (it's pretty cold here in MD today too, 31 right now), but 40's is damn cold for FL for this time of year. Those people with thin blood down there gotta be having a fit, wrapped up like eskimos..hehehe

Thats funny! When we see 50 in Wisconsin in December the golf courses are packed. Looks like Georgetown is going to have another good year, too early to tell on Badgers at this point. And I see the O's are going after Konerko big time, we could use his bat ( and about 8 more ! )

Same here in MD, I see the courses loaded with guys the week before Christmas. It's usually still in the high 40's and low 50's, during the day, on and off about then. I was out Sunday in a t-shirt putting up xmas lights and the woman on the radio was saying "bundle up, it's chilly!" I was like, really?, it's 50 degrees and the sun is out!
Hoyas are 7-0 so far, got all their guys back except Monroe. Should be a killer season. I'll be done in DC on the 18th for a game, can't wait! O's, seem to be letting this new manager take the reigns, the owners so need to get their fingers out of the game, they have been killing this team for so many years running it like a business and not a ball club...
> Halford - Oh Holy Night

I rather like Halford's take on some of the Christmas classics. He pretty much stays within the framework of the original, which is what made them classics in the first place, but still puts his metal spin on them. Can't say the same about some of the crappy versions I have heard this week.
What the hell happened to Metallica's One? :?:

I need to explore this album a bit more also, since I stumbled onto their 2007 release that ended up being freakin amazing.
I know Master of Disquise was a big album for them, but that was the one that pretty much turned me away from this band. Visual Lies was just astounding, then I bought Master and was crushed it was not even remotely close as good. I sold it a few weeks later.
But the latest lineup is back to what they do best, can't wait until the next release...
