> Firehouse - Holding On

It's a shame these guys got pegged as a "ballad band". Their rocking stuff really rocks.

I dig some of the music, but I think it is like the Steelheart thing for me, the guys voice just makes me kringe! Not sure why, cuz I like some strange stuff, just one of those things.

Maybe we can get a karaoke version with just the music!
It's funny you say that about his voice, because I didn't even realize that was Firehouse until I looked. He had a bit of a different sound, much like the recent Steelheart record, which I like better than the early falsetto stuff.

Dale, yup, Roy Kahn was in Conception before joining Kam in 97. He also studied and did opera for quite awhile. Siege Perilous was the first Kamelot album he was on, but the next one, Forth Legacy, was the one that really put them on the map.

Are you going to upload the Conception, would they fit the station? I'd like to hear some, as I think Roy is awesome and have I not bumped across any of the Conception albums myself.

Ya I actually think they may fit better. I will send them up and add to the enourmous back log Chris has up there. I really like their 1st 3 albums. I took a guess when I did that request - looks like I got the album he joined them on...lol

Cool! I haven't heard Conception in a long time, but I seem to remember them being one of the better bands of the mid-90s prog metal movement.
Is the juke box stuck again?

Yea, I logged on 6:30 this morning and it was stuck then....bummer
So is anyone else's Now Playing page stuck on Symphony X?
Yea, and the entire site seems to be real slow. Time to reboot it or shoot it.
Audio's bouncing in and out and skipping on my end. Time to email Chris.
Been like this since Saturday night at 10pm MDT.
KISS - Forever (3:54)

Hot In The Shade

Damn, someone hammered this tune band on the ratings.
IMO, As far as ballads go, this is one of the best from the era. Wow.

I think I recall Michael Bolton co-wrote this with Paul.

Likin' this one! And I would also like to point out that this is NOT Southern Rock from David T. Chatstain.

We're actually three weeks from Labor Day. How does that constitute half way in any form?
Halfway from 3 weeks ago. C'mon Rockhead. Duh.
