SS and I were just talking about this - it was done by The Nerves - written by someone named Jack Lee.

Yep, you are both correct. Jack Lee wrote the song while a member of The Nerves - I have the single - a band that was also made up of Peter Case and Paul Collins. Case went on to form t The Plimsouls, and Collins formed The Beat. Lee also wrote songs covered by quite a few other people, all contained on his album, Jack Lee's Greatist hits. Ironically titled, 'cause he didn't have a hot with any of them.

RR80s - Good disc, but I have to say (sorry Doc), I think it's sad that it is titled "Black Sabbath featuring Tony Iommi"...isn't that a given??? But he was the only original member at this point. Oh yeah, he is the only one on the cover, too.

This was originally supposed to be Tony's first solo album. The record company didn't think it would sell without "Black Sabbath" on the cover.

Still a great CD... in my opinion. Danger Zone on this CD is one of my Sabbath favs. In the late 80????????s when my cassette died, my wife had a Japanese import of this CD shipped in from the land of the rising sun to arrive Christmas Eve as a surprise gift.

He's logged on.

I think it was a good one, too. Iommi was not crazy about even being the subject of the vids...but it was HIS album. Most don't really consider it a true Sabbath album, but eh, who cares. It's Iommi. I think that was the main reason he was careful when re-forming with Dio, Geezer and Appice, to not call it Sabbath.

A cool, totally random, Philly double-shot. 8)

BL.... Walt was referring to a post from our friend the Hater.

It was deleted.
Aha. Ok then.
Dammit! Must have deleted it. And I certainly was not referring to you, BL!

Nice to see you posting anyway. I was afraid you had left!

Didn't think you were. Just thought you had fallen off the deep end or something.
