Wow, sounds like my upcoming weekend, which includes our wedding anniversary.

Congrats Lab - and many more!!
Beers that is - tee hee
It will be 19 years of marriage, plus we dated for 4-5 years before I finally broke down.
> Have had this on the brain, so time to hear it. I read an interview with Jani Lane complaining about Cherry Pie. Seems the band wanted their sound to be like Uncle Toms Cabin, but after the record company heard Cherry Pie they made them go that direction. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth (whatever the hell that means). Without Cherry Pie you wouldn't be able to afford your drunken, drug-filled lifestyle, Jani.

I understand the record co wanted one more 'hit' and made him pop out a song rather quickly - result Cherry Pie. Either way, he does not like it. I think the lp would have been fine without it, but we all know it did not hurt!!
But obviously people (at least here) love Uncle Tom's Cabin.

Personally I think Uncle tom's Cabin is one of the best Warrant tunes.

And Happy Anniversary this weekend, BL!

Agree there, that tune is amazing.
It's funny, when Warrant turned in the album to the record company, they said there was no hit single on it, so gave it back and told them to write a basic radio tune. The rest is history. Jani wrote it in a bout 1/2 hour and it was recorded like the next day.
I hated the song Cherrie Pie when it came out, but it was a huge hit for them. A shame, the rest of the album is killer.

Thought I was hearing Elton John for a sec.
Pretty song here
I did like Bobbi Brown, though! But when I got to meet her, geezo-piezo! Beautiful, but not the brightest bulb, that's for sure. She seems to have gotten better over the years, though. Still a hottie.

Really, what were we thinking back in the 80s?

Was that from the car or the stereo?

I dunno, I think I prefer that to everything two sizes too big.

Good question. Actually, one of my friends once said that the music was louder than the car - which was a mean feat.

Really lovin' me this Jorn album.

When I was listening to the song, I thought there was a lot of Dio influence in it. But when he said, "Look for the answer" at the end, I had my proof! Great tune!

Yeah, should be one or another. Kinda' like wearing suspenders and a belt.
