> My wife wants to get this disco ball-like thing for the pool. It runs on batteries, and has all these colored LEDs. It floats and spins, throwing off colored lights everywhere. I told her the money would be better spent on one of those floating ice chests. Then I wouldn't have to go so far for a beer.

Picked me up 4 hardbacks at WalGreens for $5 each this weekend. 2 Clive Cussler - you ever read him - love the action. The first is going after Genghis Khan's hidden treasure and burial site.
Mine are all F. Paul Wilson - including the latest in the "Repairman Jack" series, which was the most expensive at 16 bucks. The rest were less than 4. All hardbacks. Now with the 8 I just received from my book club, I'm set for a couple of months.

thanks, SAM! Richie & Clapton on one track - one of Richie's heroes playing on his track. I remember him saying how that made him proud. Like his teacher tellin' him he'd done good. quote unquote.

And - it is Richie's 50th birthday today! so hapy b-day!

Anyone else notice the volume level of this song being pretty low, and that the sound kind of modulated?

they're ignorants, rocko! but it's probably true... unfortunately, appearances sometimes count for too much.
