hehehehehehehehehehhe

How many bass players, other than Geddy Lee, are lead vocalists on this station?

Right off the top of my head..Tom Araya of Slayer. Sure there is a more on here
Lemmy - if you consider him a singer
Glenn Hughes - Deep Purple among others
Doug Pinnick - King's X
Danny Thompson - Arthurs Museum
Les Claypool - Primus
Gene Simmons (?)
Kip Winger
Jack Blades - Night Ranger/Damn Yankees
Dusty Hill - ZZ Top

Is Jack Bruce on here? Some others that are probably not on here:

A guy named Paul McCartney
Greg Lake
Benjamin Orr
John Wetton
Sting

WOW!
Phil Lynott, anyone?
Rockhead, nice block - very informative.

And, yeah, BL, Jack Bruce is on the Gary Moore 'Corridors Of Power' release.
All lazy bastards. heehee!
Winger - Four Leaf Clover (4:19)

Here's another lazy sumbitch. Writer, bassist, frontman - what does he do with all his free time? Oh yeah, acoustic shows - on GUITAR.

And wrote a few symphony pieces for a ballet company
In the early days of W.A.S.P., Blackie blayed bass, and fronted the band. Then there's Mark Gallagher of Raven, Phil Lynott from Thin Lizzy. Lots of lazy S.O.B.s aren't there?
Cliff Burton-Metallica
Steve Harris-Iron Maiden
Geezer Butler-Black Sabbath/Heaven and Hell/Ozzy
James Lamenzo-White Lion/ Black Label Society/Megadeth
Nikki Sixx-Motley Crue
A lead singer who can only sing is a dime a dozen!

Geezer Butler wrote all the early Black Sabbath lyrics!
Umm.. those are all BACKUP singers...
Yes, but they show they are not lazy SOBs because they can sing at the same time!
One of the laziest bass players I have EVER heard...

Walt

I agree! They should kick his sorry ass out of the band!

Geezer would be yet another 4 string slacker.... I guess the rippin???????? bass line in this tune is imaginary. Next time my son asks me to teach him bass, I beat his lazy ass. Rock???? Diem Y????????all!

Doc

Whip him good, Doc! You don't want him growing up to be a lazy S.O.B!
Warrant - Uncle Tom's Cabin (2000) (3:33)

What the hell is this - they runied a great song . . . .
OK.. The Who are not on this site, but John Entwhistle is one of my favorite bass players. Many rock critics cite the bass solo on "My Generation" as the first (and best).
He was also a good enough songwriter to get his tunes on the same album as one of the best songwriters ever (Pete Townsend for all who don't know) AND he sang lead on all his tunes.
> ....If it wasn't for the same Minnesota Vikings and the pathetic trade for Herschel Walker they made (giving the Cowboys draft picks upon draft picks that created the championship teams).....

I often refer to this event as "when the Vikings sold their soul to the Devil"; however, the seem to have alot of soul...they keep doing it over & over again with brainless picks & trades. Uggggh!!!

> Here's a bass player so lazy, he's been in the same band for over thirty years.

That's not lazy, that's lack of gumption. Lack of gumption SOB!
Ya' know? I'm so lazy, this time out, I'm only gonna play four songs - one for each string on my bass. Shoulda' called them E, A, D, and G.
