Wild how music points to times in our lives...I went through a windshield (was not the driver) and walked away with a sprained arm and a bump on the head....White Lion's "Pride" was in the tape player at the time blasting away during the whole carnage....ahhh, the good ol days..hehehe

I hit a flatbed with my two week old car in '87 why listening to "Stand or Fall" by Anthrax. I didn't get hurt, but my car was almost totaled. It wasn't a total loss as I was looking at a girl I went to school with who happened to be in Daisy Duke shorts and a half shirt on her front lawn . I wonder where Laura is these days.

At least my Anthrax tape survived.
Skulls just played some Heretic and i thought the vocals sounded familiar. Its Mike Howe who left Heretic the year this album came out and then joined Metal Church.

Good stuff.

Ptolemy was an ancient mathematician, astronomer, geographer and astrologer in the Greek tradition.

What inspired Sykes to write a song about him may have to do with the fact that Ptolemy also wrote an influential work, Harmonics, on music theory and the mathematics of music.
