lol. you know what I mean is "Narcistic, heroin addicted Axl and band mates try to resurrect what's left of GNRs fame" ;).

no seriously, not a bad record so far. Still haven't listened past tune #7

For the most part, today has been one Z favorite after another. Here's another! You guys have made today an awesome HR80's experience for me. The day is going by fast because of it.

I stand corrected, I THOUGHT it was one of my favorites. it's interesting, and it might grow on me eventually, but it wasn't the song I meant to request. ;).

no prob...if I hadn't picked it up by chance a week or two or three ago and put it in the car, I would have forgotten too.
Since it's pouring here in CT, let's do a "rain" blocking. How fitting is this title?

How funny - like the song a lot too - know anything about them. I have seen their name on here some.

Asphalt Ballet is a great band. They have two albums and a Live EP. The S/T debut is what I call "cajun gutter rock" -- it's a solid album and worth checking out. The Live EP is cool with the same line-up. On their sophomore disc, they got a new singer and he does a great job, too. That disc is called "Pigs"; maybe I'll request the tune "Angry Youth" -- great stuff. Also, Axl Rose helped out with some writing & backing vox on that album.

I saw Asphalt Ballet back in the day with Shotgun Messiah & T-Ride, and AB ROCKED!!! Also, during my college radio days (or was it daze), I did a phone interview with the guitarist & drummer. Very cool & humble guys.
