Andie told me about it. I like it - new toy.

More props to Chris!

Thanks Doc, glad it was a good morning start up for ya!
> Joe Satriani - The Crush Of Love

Years and years ago a floppy "record" came in my Guitar Player magazine and this is one of the songs on it. Haven't heard it since then. Cool. 8) Funny how you remember those things.

Yup with special guest Kai!
Should be rated better.
Kill For Thrills - Silver Bullets (4:04) (By Request)
From: Dynamite From Nightmareland

Cant figure out why this is a rusty one, such an awesome and popular band. How the hell can that dude on the left even stand on those toothpick legs?
Dedicated by:
Slick

Love your sarcasm Slick! Actually, the guy on the left is Gilby Clarke. For some reason he left this extremely popular band for some obscure outfit, something Roses I think.

The Crue was huge at the time and climbing; however, I did hear somewhere that this album was basically "thrown" together due to pressure from the record company and the band was partying a bit too much during this time. That might be why people diss it, but it had the Crue's sleazy stamp of approval ;)

Thanks for the props z2h. Sure TOP might not be as strong as TFFL & SATD, but it had attitude and sleaze. I have to give the Crue credit, they changed it up with EVERY album -- New logo, new outfits, new themes, etc. (Kind of like KISS used to do back in the day). To me, it kept it fresh & different. I read somewhere that in the beginning, Nikki Sixx had the first 4 or 5 albums mapped out with the different image, logo, etc. Sure they could have done another Shout At The Devil with same stuff, but Theater of Pain was complete 180 -- from leather & spikes to colorful glam & (gasp) lace. I remember listening to TOP for the first time and I wanted another SATD, but it was something I didn't expect. It did grow on me and soon I was loving every tune.

Let's also keep in mind that it was the 80's and it was a crazy time for hard rockin' music.
