The hiccup y’all just heard was me rebooting SAM. Let’s see if this straightens some of these issues out.

If y’all are still experiencing issue, I can do a BIG restart. That’s restarting the Shoutcast connection. Not sure how long that could take. Yeah or Nay, Crew.

What is it with SAM? Not being any kind of programmer, im sure i dont know how all this works, but why does SAM keep picking the same bands every day? Is it not supposed to be totally random as to what it picks? Yet every day for the last several weeks it picks Thin Lizzy (who should have never been put on this station IMHO) at least twice a day, sometimes just a few hours after it already picked one, Freak Kitchen, Adam Bomb, Bon Jovi and a few others. Its not that people are requesting these bands, except maybe Bon Jovi so why does SAM keep picking the same things over and over?

Anybody else losing request because the track/artist recently played?

Finding the "Track recently played" pop up window regularly. Which is doubtful 'cause I'm a deep track requestor. But I've not lost a request as a result.
My lost requesta usually a result of a different error notification about My SQL....

I've had those messages as well, my last block I was only able to get 4 out of the 5 requests to go through and the only issue I ran across, was that one of those requests was recently played.

The refresh rate on HR80s is slower than a dial up modem. I can't request. Guess I'll have to stick with the free version.

Can no longer request or tune in to the new HardRockin80s.com. What platforms are you guys using?? Here's all I get:
Bad Request - Request Too Long
HTTP Error 400. The size of the request headers is too long.
And as usual, site administrators are nowhere to be found.

Hey Freeb - send me the pages and steps you are using to request. I'll take a look and see if I can duplicate.
Can also try a forced cache refresh (Ctrl-F5)

So the banishment from the new HardRockin80s.com continues. What's so mysterious is that it seemingly only affects my ability to listen and request. Though SAM did process a Halloween request but nixed the dedication...let's see if this even posts without error....

Hey Freebs I did a soft restart on the web services and the audio broadcast service. See if that helps. May need to do a full reboot - May be worth the 15-20 minutes of downtime
